THE TEHRAN COLLECTION
FROM SUNDAY
4 For the fi rst time ever, artworks from the collection
of the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art will
be on display outside of Iran, to be shown instead
at Berlin’s Gemäldegalerie. Alongside important
examples of Iranian art, this collection includes works by
Pollock and Mark Rothko and is one of the biggest
collections of 20th-century Western art outside of Europe
and the US. The exhibition runs until next February, when it
will be moving on to Rome's MAXXI museum of
